Johnny felt ten times better when he walked back into their apartment. He had found a couple of guys that were able to hook him up and he got their number for next time.
"Hi." Chloe said smiling.
Johnny looked up at her. She was sitting up against the wall.
"Where did Lisa and Chris go?" He asked her.
"Chris went for a walk and Lisa's with Tucker." She said.
"Oh." He said. He put his hands in his pockets.
"Did you have a nice walk?" She asked.
He nodded. "Yeah." He scratched the back of his neck.
"Does Chris talk to you about me?" She asked.
"All the god damn time." He laughed.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah." He said. "Well, I'm gonna go lay down for a bit."
"Oh, okay." She said.
He sighed and sat down next to her. "What's up?" He asked.

Chloe tried to gather her thoughts, but she had trouble trying to figure out how to express her feelings. "Chris." She said.
"What about him?" He asked.
"I feel like I'm losing him." She said.
"You'll never lose him, babe." He said. "He loves you way too much to let you just slip away." He put his hand on her leg. "I think what you need is to find someone else and get your mind off of him."
She nodded.

"Anyway, I'm gonna go lay down before I get myself into trouble." He said, feeling a little vulnerable.
"You wanna share a glass of wine with me?" She asked.
"Uh. . ." He said. "I. . . I don't think that's the best idea."
"Okay." She said.
He couldn't get his eyes off of her. She looked so disapointed. He never noticed her pouty lips or the small dimple on the left side of her cheek before. He wondered if his mind was playing tricks on him. "I'm sorry." He said. He stood up.
"Please, Johnny." She said.
"Just one glass." He said, not trusting himself.
"Or two?" She giggled.
"Maybe two." He laughed.
"Yay!" She said excited. "I never get quality time with Johnny."
He just laughed.

"So you do you always drink wine before noon?" He asked her.
"I just feel like we can do whatever we want now. This is our NEW life, and fresh start." She told him.

"Wait, I take that back. It's 12:30 so it's technicaly afternoon." He said from the kitchen. He brought out a bottle of wine and two glasses. He knew drinking stoned was a bad idea if he wanted to keep everyone clueless about it. He figured once wouldn't do any harm though.

Chloe sat in the living room waiting. She just wanted to forget about Chris for a while. Of the four friends her and Chris were always close, and Lisa and Johnny were always close. She wanted to get to know Johnny more on a one on one basis. She laughed when she heard him whistling, "This is the song that never ends" in the kitchen.

"Here you go m'lady." He said, handing her the empty glasses. He sat down next to her and uncorked the wine bottle. She held up the glasses, while he poured.
"M'lady?" She asked.
"Isn't that what you say when you drink wine?" He asked.
"It's not what I say." She giggled. He just smiled and held up his glass in toast.
"To our new life." She said, and they toasted and took a sip. After the first glass they were both feeling quite tipsy.
"So, why did you break up with Chris anyway?" Johnny asked.
"I told you already." She told him.
"No. You just said you didn't want to date anymore. Why?" He asked her. Chloe shrugged.
"I still have feelings for him. God, I will always have feelings for him. I mean we dated for like two years. But I guess I came to realize I didn't love him. And that it wasn't fair if he felt so strongly about me, and I didn't feel as strongly about him." She told him.
"That makes sense." Johnny said, and poured them each more wine.
"Besides. He was the only guy I ever dated, the only guy I was ever with." She said, using her index fingers to make invisable quotations around the word with.
"Really?" Johnny asked. He had figured she had been with at least one or two more guys then just Chris.
"Really." She said. "I wanted to see what different guys are like. How other relationships were." She said. Johnny nodded in agreement.
"But then, I was so jealous when he was looking at that girl from last night." She said.
"Of course you were." Johnny said. She looked at him confused.
"You just said you still had feelings for him. They may not be feelings of love, but of course you were jealous. I hate seeing ex girlfriends with new boyfriends. Even if our relationship was horrible." He explained to her.
"Huh." Was all Chloe said in reply. For some reason that made total sense.

When they finished their second glass, they were both drunk.
"So, how many girls have you been with." Chloe asked Johnny. She poured them a third glass. Johnny didn't protest. He knew something was going to happen, and he wanted the excuse of being too dunk to know any better.
"Three." He said.
"No, how many have you SLEPT with. Not dated." Chloe clarified.
"Oh, that. Five." He said.
"Really? Five?" She asked.
"Yeah. That's not a lot." He said, and laughed.
"Now it's your turn to ask a question." She told him.
"How old were you when you...you know." He said.
"No I don't know." She said with a confused look on her face. God she is cute, Johnny thought
"I mean when you lost your virginity." He said.
"18." Chloe sighed.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah." She said.
"But you and Chris dated for like two years." He said.
"And we didn't sleep together until my eighteenth birthday six months ago." She said.
"Why?" Johnny asked.
"Chris said it should be special, and we should wait. So we did." Chloe said.
"For two years." Johnny said.
"What about you?" Chloe asked.
"Oh, me? I was 15." He said.
"15?" Chloe shouted. Johnny laughed.
"Yeah, I was a horny little bastard." Johnny told her.
"Was?" Chloe asked laughing.
"Okay, I still am." He told her. Her tanktop had drifted a little, so he could just see the top of her bra. He wanted to just go over there and rub his face in her boobs. The thought made him smile.
"What?" Chloe asked.
"Huh?" He asked, looking up at her.
"Why are you smiling?" She asked.
"Nothing." Johnny said, grinning.
"What?" She asked again.
"Come here, and I'll tell you." He said. She scooted closer, and set her wine glass down. Johnny put his arm around her, and she turned her head so he could whisper in her ear. He turned her head back so she was looking right into his eyes. His very deep, very blue eyes. Since when had he had such amazing eyes? She wondered.

Then it happened.

He leaned down and kissed her. She knew it had been coming. Isn't that what she had wanted in the first place? To kiss Johnny? Ever since she had been left alone with him the night before. Only then she knew better. Now, she was drunk and didn't care about anything but that moment.

She kissed him back.

He tasted her lips and a shiver went up his spine. She turned and scooted into his lap, facing him. She had her legs wrapped around his waist, and her arms wrapped around his neck. Johnny was glad he had drank enough to push is conscience so far back inside that he felt like this was right. Perfect even.

They kissed for minutes.

At the same moment they both stopped and looked into each others eyes. Chloe bit her bottom lip, and Johnny grinned. She took his hand and placed it on her breast. Johnny was hers, she thought.

They both slowly stood up, and walked back to her room. It took a while because they were kissing, and undressing on their way back. Finaly, they made it back to the room. There were no beds, only blankets and pillows on the floor. Johnny shut the door, and Chloe locked it.

Johnny watched as Chloe stripped off her last item of clothing, and he stared at her body. She was perfect he thought. She was a dancer and her body was perfect. He put his arms around her, and kissed her as he slipped off his boxers. They layed down on the pile of pillows and blankets.

It was glorious.
