Chloe turned on her iPod placed her headphones on her head. "You mean we don't get to hear the music?" Lisa asked. Chloe laughed. "I really have to focus though." She said. "I was just going to use my headphones for a little bit." "Well, that's no fun." Lisa said. "I'll be quiet. I promise." "Okay." Chloe sighed.
Chris layed back against the wall. "That was so sweet of Johnny to make breakfast." Lisa said. "Yeah, it was." Chloe said. Chris just nodded. He watched Chloe set up her music. She turned on some old Cyndi Lauper and appeared to be doing stretches. Lisa wasn't able to just sit and watch for very long. Chris figured she wouldn't be invited to Chloe's practices ever again. He laughed. Lisa stood behind Chloe along the large mirror that covered most of the wall. She began to copy Chloe's every move. It looked like she was really able to tone Lisa out though, because she acted like she wasn't even there. He watched Chloe start to dance slowly with her eyes closed. Lisa just stood there and watched her. After a while, Chloe was all over the room spinning, flipping and doing all kinds of crazy stuff. Chris had forgoten what an amazing dancer Chloe was. "You're gonna get this part." Chris said out loud. Chloe didn't hear him though and he decided not to repeat it. He was still upset about what she had done. He was trying hard to move past it, but he knew it was going to be a while. As for Johnny, he didn't see them being good friends again in the future. He focused back on Chloe and forgot about everything again. "Okay, come here." Chloe said walking over to Chris with her hands out. "What?" He asked. "Come here. I'll teach you a few really easy steps." She told him. "No thanks." Chris laughed. "Please?" She begged sticking out her bottom lip. He laughed and let her help him up. "Yay!" She said clapping. He just smiled. "Okay. I am going to show you a couple really easy Tango steps." She said. "Great." He said laughed. "Be nice." She said.
Lisa sat down. "Teach me some ballet next." She told Chloe. "Uh, no." Chloe laughed. "Hey!" Lisa said. "Ballet is difficult." Chloe told her. "So!" Lisa said. "I'll show you some hip hop or something." Chloe said. "Fine." Lisa said rolling her eyes.
Chloe was impressed with how fast he picked it up. "You are taking me dancing." She told him, he shook his head no. "Oh, come on. Please?" She asked. "Maybe." He sighed, and she smiled.
"Okay, come on now. Show me something!" Lisa demanded. She was starting to sound whiney. Chloe laughed, and let go of Chris. She showed Lisa a few ballet steps and laughed when she kept falling down. After about fifteen minutes she told Lisa to go sit down. "I really have to do my routine now. I have enough time left to do it four more times. Now, sit and shhhhhh!" Chloe said, mostly to Lisa. Lisa just nodded. Chloe closed her eyes and took a deep breath, then went into her routine. Lisa's was amazed, and Chris was mesmerized. He took out his notebook and pen and started to write while he watched. Just a short poem about her movement. "I bet Johnny would love to draw this." Lisa said. Chris looked up at her angry. "Sorry. I didn't think about that one before I said it." She told him. "I'm still mad at you for reading my book." He told her. She stuck his tounge out at him, and he just smiled. Lisa was glad to see it.
When Chloe's time was up she was exhausted, but she felt confident about her routine. "Ice cream anyone?" She asked. "Somone is nervous." Lisa and Chris said at the same time. They all laughed and then piled in the car and drove to the ice cream parlor.
Chris watched Chloe fidget the whole time she ate. He knew she was nervous. "I'll take you to your audition tomorrow." He told her before she could ask. "Would you really?" She asked. She had never been more scared about anything before. "Yes." He told her. Lisa wanted to come to, but she didn't want to get in the middle of anything. Chloe saw the look of disapointment on her face. "You can come to." Chloe told her, and laughed when Lisa's face lit up. "You guys can't watch me, but you can wait for me." She told them. "I'm so excited!" Lisa squeled and hugged Chloe. Chris just laughed at the two of them.
