Lisa opened her eyes to see Johnny messing with his radio. Then she heard the radio DJ.
"Record rainfall here in L.A. Along with record amounts of flooding, and several reported landslides all over California...
"Oh great." She said, sitting up. She wanted to smoke so bad.
"I'm going to step outside for a minute." She whispered to Johnny. He nodded, still listening to the radio. She stepped outside and Tucker was out there smoking.
"Morning." He said.
"Morning." She yawned.
"How is your knee?" He asked.
"Oh, it's fine. Just an old track injury." She said.
"Smoke?" He asked, and helt out his pack. She looked at it longingly. "I won't tell if you take one." He whispered, and she laughed. She took one and he lit it up for her. She took a big long drag, and promised this wouldn't happen often. She walked over to the railing and looked down into the parking lot. Which was completely flodded.
"Shit." She said.
"I know. It rained all night. It's still kind of sprinkling." Tucker said.
"Geeze." Lisa said, unable to beliveve the whole parking lot was flodded. Fortunatly it looked like the water was draining since it had stopped raining.
"Welcome to L.A." Tucker said, and she looked at him, and started laughing.
"Yeah. Welcome to L.A." She sighed. This was not how she had pictured it.

Sarah said...

"What time is it?" Chris asked yawning as he sat up.
"Hell if I know." Johnny said. He kept losing his reception on his radio and getting pissed off. "Come on, you peice of crap!" He said.
"I can't beleive how much that girl can sleep through." Johnny said looking at Chloe.
Chris laughed and brushed her hair out of her face with his fingers. "Did you see that chick last night? Holy shit." He said.
Johnny smiled. "Yeah I saw her." He said.
"Where's Lisa?" Chris asked.
Johnny sighed and pointed to the front door with his thumb.
"What can ya do right?" Johnny asked.
Chris just nodded and put the blanket over Chloe. He stared at her as she slept. Johnny went to the bedroom with his radio. Apparently, he thought he could get it to work in there.
Chris layed back down next to Chloe and put his arm around her. He layed his head on her pillow and rested his forehead up against hers. She sighed loudly and turned onto her back.

Chloe opened her eyes.
"Good Morning." Chris said.
She looked over at him and smiled as she rubbed her eyes.
"Damnit!" They heard Johnny shout. It sounded like he was pounding on his radio too.
Chris laughed. "He's having some problems with his radio."
"Oh." Chloe giggled.
"You wanna step out onto the balcony with me?" Chris asked her.
"Sure." She said confused.

"Can you do me a small favor?" Lisa asked Tucker.
"What's up?" He asked.
"Nevermind." She laughed.
"What is it?" He asked.
"I was gonna tell you not to give me a cigarette next time." She said.
He laughed. "Okay, I can do that."
"I'm really trying to quit." She said.
"It's not an easy task." He said. "But, I respect anyone who can do it. I've tried so many times."
"This is actually my first attempt." She said.
"Well, good luck with that." He said.

Chris sat down. "Come here." He sat patting his lap lightly.
Chloe giggled and sat down on his lap. "Are we good?" He asked.
Right away, Chloe pictured the night before when she noticed Chris eyeing Adrian.
She shrugged and tried hard not to cry. She was so confused. He put his arms around her. A tear dripped down her cheek and she whiped it with her sleeve right away. He squeezed her tighter, so she knew he could tell she was getting worked up again.
"Talk to me." He told her softly. He kissed the top of her head.
She didn't know what to say and she felt silly for feeling jealous and alone. She just shrugged again.
"Chlo, talk to me." He said again.
"I don't know what to say." She said as more tears dripped down her face.

Chris felt really bad. He hated when Chloe was upset, especially when he didn't know why. He just comforted her for a while before he decided to ask her again what was wrong. "Chlo?" He said again.
"Did you like that girl last night?" She asked him.
"Don't be silly. I don't even know her." He said.
"But you thought she was pretty right?" She asked.
"Well, sure." He said.
"Well, okay then." She said. She stood up and started to walk away. Chris grabbed her arm and pulled her back over to him.
"What is this?" He asked as he stood up.
"I don't know." She sobbed.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked.
She shrugged.
"You're makin' me crazy." He said softly. "So crazy."

Lisa stepped back into the apartment giggling. She closed the door behind her.
"What's so funny?" Johnny asked with frustration.
"Oh nothing. Something Tucker said. You had to be there." She said.
"Okay. . ." He said.
"What's with them?" She asked pointing to the balcony. Chris and Chloe were standing so close to eachother and looking so deep into eachothers eyes, that they looked like they were about to share a long awaited for kiss. Johnny looked in their direction and rolled his eyes. "Who knows." He said. "I'm stayin' out of it for now on."
"She's crying." Lisa said staring at them.
"Quit watching." Johnny said.
"No, Johnny. She's crying. Seriously. Look." She said.
Johnny looked again. "I'm not surprised." He said. "He's probably confessing his love to her and she feels bad for rejecting him. . . again."
"You're stupid." Lisa said. She walked over to the door and knocked on it.

Chris and Chloe both turned to her. She put her hands in the air and shook her head with confusion.
Chris turned back towards Chloe. "Do you want me?" He asked her.
She shrugged.
"I'm going inside." He said. He let go of her and went back inside.
"What's going on?" Johnny asked.
Chloe walked in.
"Her." Chris said pointing to Chloe.

Johnny forced himself to stay out of it. "I'm gonna go for a walk." He said. Johnny grabbed his coat and left the apartment. He really wanted to smoke. He was bored out of his mind, his radio wouldn't work and his apartment was full of drama. He tried to think of a place he could go to get some weed as he walked down the street. He saw several groups of people around his age, so he just started asking around.
